Super Secure SMS/MMS

Would you use encrypted SMS technologies if they were a breeze to deploy across your enterprise and equally easy to use and manage?

My guess is that you wouldn’t being a standard user of mobile applications. If however you were in the wealth/assets moving industry or in a highly secretive agency in the government such an application would interest you and you would be looking at a tiny startup called CryptoGraf, based in Bangkok.

I met with the founder and CEO, Jay Busari, at the Mobile Monday Peer Awards and got a sense of what they are upto. The demo of tha CryptoGraf application was smooth and none of the demo-shivers were to be had. What is really interesting is that the application can run on almost any JME capable phone and integrates into the existing messaging infrastructure on the device - which means you do not have to get used to a new UI. They also have a Cryptograf Interface in JME (screenshots below). They have spent a lot of time supporting every conceivable encryption algorithm available and advertise their product as “military grade”.

I have been struggling to come up with more business scenarios for Cryptograf’s technology - Take a stab anyone?
